Hi my favorite people 💗💗💗. I woke up really early and got Baxter up too for a grooming at PetSmart close to home. We had 8 am appt. Everything went great although Bax was shaking because he hates going. She asked when he had a seizure last, I said yesterday, but it was only because he got overheated on a fur blanket and I held him in front of fan and he was fine. They won’t see him for 2 weeks now. He has so much hair and he needs a cut badly. I could cry. I’m so angry. Oh well 💗💗💗💗💗💗

1 year agoAbsolutely beautiful Deborah..Love the soft colors and the beautiful cat 🐈 too! So sorry to hear that Baxter has seizures. Sending my love to both of you. Hope the 2 weeks flies by. I can relate to the grooming,,,I have a dog that only weighs 7lbs. Her hair grows like crazy and the groomer I have is a no show half the time 😫 She’s one of the best groomers we have around here. That’s why it makes it so hard to go and find someone else to take over. My profile picture is my little girl.

1 year agoAwww..so sorry about Bax. But I imagine they have to err on the side of caution. If he had a seizure during clipping and got injured it would be terrible. Does he have a little doggie pool he could use in the meantime? I know it’s horrifically hot there now. Poor Bax. ♥️

1 year ago@KarenMay Thanks Karen. He stays in now in the AC. He only goes out if he needs to potty or if he’s in the mood to go in the car with me. He sleeps a lot. They said he could get triggered to have a seizure. I wish I could find a groomer and vet, mobile ones. But they are so booked. He was so good this morning and let me get him up so early. He usually doesn’t cooperate! He likes to sleep in. He’s been loving on me more cuz we are inside a lot and I hug and smooch him more often. ♥️

1 year ago@KarenMay I don’t have a kiddie pool. The other dogs go in the pool. Baxter will go in a floatie if I’m right there with him. But he has bad eyesight now and on xmas Eve he fell in the pool twice and found his way out on the steps, so I’m not sure he will go in. I haven’t made it in yet either so, we’ll see. I’ve just been busy for some reason. Thanks for thinking of us 💗

I colored two today … so unless I see one I can’t resist, I’ll clear some more pictures I’ve saved to color one day 💗💗💗. Have a great evening … hope you and Charlie have recuperated 😊😊😊

1 year ago@Suzi Q ✌️🌹🌹 I love your beautiful dog. Is she a Maltese ? My dog is a black and white shitzu. But I think he has Laso Apso in his lineage cuz he’s bigger. He weighs approx 20-26 pounds … and is long. He was a rescue dog. But he used to run and play … and we walked all the time cuz we had parks around everywhere. But now I can’t walk as well, and I’m unsteady. I have neuropathy in my feet and can’t feel the front of my feet well, so I can fall easily. I need to walk more. 😎. Hugs ♥️

1 year agoJust gorgeous Deb❤️❤️ So sorry to hear about Baxter. I know how uncomfortable it is for the dogs in the heat, and even worse when they need to be groomed. I had a Shitzu that used to have seizures, so I know how heartbreaking it is for you. Take care my friend and much love to Baxter❤️❤️

1 year ago@tienny/Donna Thank you my friend ♥️. It’s so sad to see. He literally scream cries, and tries to thrash around, then he goes limp and wets himself, and he passes out. I lay him on the bed bench with the fan on him and he sleeps for awhile and finally looks up at me and I bring him water and dip my fingers in the water and put the wet fingers to his mouth. Then he sleeps for a long time. I don’t leave him til he wakes up ok. So I’ve been staying in… what causes it ? Will he die ?
