i’ve been wanting to say this for a while but i never found the chance: i like where i am now. i used to get hundreds of likes and it was nice, but it quickly became overwhelming. i felt pressured to satisfy people by posting what i think they wanted, just so i could stay relevant. i felt jealous and insecure whenever i saw other posts with more likes than me. tbh it destroyed my mental health and it wasn’t the greatest time i went through.

2 years agonow, i can just do whatever i want without worrying so much about what other people will think. it’s been a relief and i don’t feel the obligation to post something new every day.

tbh deleting my old acc felt similar. i wasn’t pressured to provide for over a thousand people, it was just a small fifty person group that i loved. i think that the biggest perk to rc fading out is the fact that you’re able to have amazing interactions with others without worrying about the classic “nO seLf pRomO” or “nO sPam”. i spam on my own posts because hey! i can do that now!

I’m so glad you’re doing better now! I’m definitely in that spot right now where I feel bad about not getting as much likes and stuff but I just remind myself the reason that I started Rc was to post what I like. Even though I’d get more likes if I did more templates and celebs. So I’m really glad you are through that rough spot 🤍 You are so strong!

i understand what you're saying too. i think it's really clear when i hit that stage of wanting to satisfy the audience and not myself. i've normalized posting what others want or what i think is gonna be liked by everyone. im still kind of going through that but it's reliving that i can go on break and no one rushes me to return.

Not only that but I’ve felt I’ve improved a lot and now I like taking time with my templates and not rushing…😌🤍 Really It’s a huge weight taken off your back.
