6 years agoMe too, I have to take an extra second to consider....bear vs bare, accept vs except, and so forth. English is a bit of an odd duck, & I say that as an American. Weβve taken the English language and just run with it and now we make up new words like photobomb, binge-watch, vacay, birther, side-eye, and microaggression on pretty much a weekly basis. We call people with red hair Gingers, we talk about neighborhoods being food deserts, we get hangry, and we watch Netflix as a time suck. π€π€ππ€£π€£π€£
