3 years agoOK, so, shading. I would say I mostly start lighter shading in darker. I blend and layer a lot. With that one, I used a custom dark skintone and firstly shaded with black then went over it with the darkest brown skin colour, then the next lightest. I overlay each repeatedly. On areas like the nose I do the same then "dab" over it with a crayon of the original skin colour. Highlights are just a couple of shades above the base at first, a dot of paler. I observe light on faces a lot in real life.
