Years back we had Cicadas. I remember hearing that sound and just thought it was part of normal summer noises. Lol 😄 Then we went to the Montréal Botanical Gardens and went to the Insectarium where you could push a button and hear the Cicadas, and I said to my daughter, “Isn’t that the noise we’re hearing around our house?” LOL 😅 (Those were the days before I used Internet daily for info.) 🥰♥️🌿🌺🌸💐🌸🌺🌿♥️ Thanks for visiting my gallery! 2 years ago@Storehorse Haha 😁 Love your humor! 💛 This noise was actually a loud swelling that sounded like thousands of crickets, like loud & then soft, like swarming, like electric & noisy, like I can’t describe it, lol 😄but the Montréal Insectarium had the right sound. 🥰💚🌿💐🌺💐🌿💚 🦗

Considering Cicadas come once every 17 years, what a coincidence it was that we went to Montréal that same summer. And silly me, that most certainly was not normal summer sounds.
