2 years agoYes I'm awake & have insomnia, but that's nothing new. We're having alot of flooding here. I don't think we've ever had this much rain. So far we're ok where we are and I'm thankful for that. The new strain of Covid is spreading like wildfire here & I found out today that two of my sons, a daughter in law and my ex husband have it. They have light symptoms so far. I've been immunized but of course you can still get it. I have a friend who just got over it and she had a rough time. So I'm

2 years ago@HollyDE 🌼🍃 My sleeping isn’t as good as it used to be. What helps me is playing Wordscapes. It forces me to be in the moment so my mind can’t wander & finally I get so exhausted I fall asleep. Sometimes I play a YouTube ocean wave or rain video for background sounds😴 I am so sorry about your sons, dil, & ex having Covid. Were they vaccinated? 2 years agoThanks for your concern 😊 Of my 4 sons, 2 have been vaccinated and 2 haven't. So far they've all had mild symptoms & I hope it doesn't get any worse. We had 3 people die in 3 days in a row here. One was a teacher & principal & everyone knew him. Very Sad. I've been vaccinated since May. My little granddaughter was tested Thursday before we knew anything about her Uncles because she had a headache, chills and fever. She tested negative but my dil tested negative the 1st time she went &

2 years agopositive the next day when she had her 2nd test. So I wonder, especially since her mother found out yesterday that a neighbors child's parents are both sick & didn't tell her & he'd been over there playing. So she's been exposed in two different ways that we know of. If she did she's about over it now. She missed several days of school last week tho. I'm feeling OK now and I'm going to be tested Wednesday if I haven't had symptoms and before if I do. I'm going to sign off now but I appreciate

2 years ago@HollyDE 🌼🍃 I am so sorry to hear about your granddaughter being exposed & probably catching Covid But I am so happy she had a mild case & is probably done with it. You should be fine because your vaccine was in May, thank goodness. Assume if you get sick that it is Covid, but I believe if you do get sick it will only be mild. I get so angry at the unvaccinated endangering all of us, especially innocent children, because they don’t believe in the facts. They are filling up the hospitals & …

2 years ago@HollyDE 🌼🍃 & putting medical staffs lives at risk.(Our beloved doctor died last year but was before vaccines). The unvaccinated are allowing these stronger resistant strains to form. If they could just harm themselves with their ignorant beliefs then go for it, But they are harming everyone. I wish Covid had a color so we could see where it is &stay away.
