1 year agoOnce upon a time, in a medieval kingdom. There lived a young prince named Prince Kane. He was very powerful, but he didnβt use this power for good. He was very wealthy and very selfish, he wanted the rich in his kingdom, but he wanted the poor out. The King and Queen of the land were disappointed in their son because of this, but even though they were the King and Queen, they had no power over him.
One day, as the Prince was doing his duties, a strange woman with green hair approached himβ¦

1 year agoYou could tell by her clothing that she was among the poor and not wealthy. The Prince noticed this and immediately threw her out of the castle, without even hearing what she had to say. A few days later, the same strange woman appeared, but this time, the King and the Queen were escorting her into the palace. The Prince was utterly confused. βWhy would they let a peasant like her into the castle.β He thought. Before he could say anything the Queen spoke aloud, sayingβ¦.

1 year agoβI have arranged a marriage for you. This woman is to be your wife.β The Prince looked at her in shock and disgust, and immediately argued back to her. The woman didnβt look too pleased either, but they both had to agree to it. After a few months had passed the Prince and the woman were married. The womanβs name was Rae, and she didnβt love the Prince at all, in fact she hated him. Because he, the Prince, ruined her life, in a way that no one could ever understandβ¦.

1 year agoA couple years before the marriage, Rae lived happily with her lover. She loved her lover, and her lover loved her. However, there was a problem. Raeβs lover wasnβt aloud to be in the kingdom, because they were more than poor, they were homeless and an orphan. Rae knew this, so their relationship was a secret, in fact, Raeβs entire lover was a secret. No one but her loverβs parents knew that they existed. However, one of Raeβs closest friends betrayed them, and told the Prince about everything.

1 year agoRae immediately regretted telling anyone. She didnβt know what to do. She knew that the Prince would harm them both, but mostly her lover, and she didnβt want anything bad happening to them. So she came up with a plan. Rae snuck her lover out of the kingdom and to a different place that was so much more accepting and loving. Rae loved being with them there, but she couldnβt stay for long, because the next day, she got a letter from the Queen saying, βYou are to marry my son, next week.β

1 year agoRae was heartbroken. Even though she was in a different kingdom, she was born in the Queenβs kingdom, and her parents were there, so she had to obey the Queenβs orders. She gave her lover one last kiss goodbye, and went back to the kingdom. After a few days had passed, Rae decided to right a letter to her lover, saying that she had a plan. She would p0is0n the Prince, once they were married, and take over the throne. Then she would change the rules about the poor, and live happily with her love.

1 year agoAfter discussing this plan, through letters, for six days, it was the day before the wedding. She sent one last letter to her love, saying that she was going to carry out her plan today. So there she was, in the Princeβs room, the night after their wedding, bringing the Prince his glass of water before bed. After the deed was done she stole one the Princeβs charms and fled the castle. She was messy, and tired, but she had to write to her lover saying that it was done, that they could finallyβ¦

1 year ago..be together, that they could finally live happily ever after. But a few hours later, she received a letter. She opened it with joy and happiness, only to receive the most dreaded news to ever be heard. The Prince won, even though he was gone. The night before the wedding, he went to the other kingdom and carried out HIS plan. Raeβs lover was gone, the Prince was gone. So Rae sat there staring blankly at the wall, not knowing how to feel or what to say. She hears the cries of the town as theβ¦

1 year ago..βterribleβ news spreads. Rae sits there, thinking about what they could of been. What they couldβve done. How they couldβve lived. She takes her pen and writes the letter of her loverβs first name over the charm that she had stolen. Rae knew that the town was looking for her, but in that moment she didnβt care. She read the last letter that was sent to her, by her lover.
βI know that what happened was sad, but I wouldnβt change a thing about it, because I got to spend it all with you.β
