Hiiii guys! I’m not sure how I feel about this cuz it was kinda rushed~ I’ll probably end up redoing it and posting again
Just a reminder before I get into my Saturday Story (Sunday Story, this week 🙃): I’ll be starting my contest Tuesday~ hope you’ll consider joining!
Since it’s summer, I decided to tell a story from a fishing trip I took back in May~ yes, I know, that’s not really summer but who cares?
Anyway, the story.

1 year agoI was on a fishing trip with my mom, twin sis, younger brother, and my maternal grandparents. My grandma kept complaining she couldn’t cast her line as far as my mom, brother, and I could. We casted holding the pole with two hands over our heads, while she did it with one hand to the side. My mon suggested she try casting over her head with two hands on the pole like we did. Well, my grandma got her hands on the pole, looked me straight in the eye, and said, dead serious, “Oh, I need to remember

I started laughing, along with my mom and brother (we were the only ones fishing at the time~ everyone else was still sleeping 😴)
Eventually, my mom got control of herself about to say, “Not if you want to ever see that pole again”
And my grandma, having FINALLY figured it out, started laughing as well.
Because guys, letting go with both hands is the equivalent of throwing the entire pole into the lake as hard as you can 😬😂😭😂😭😬

1 year agoSo it’s kind of a short story this week, and I’m not sure it’ll be as funny to you as it is to me… but there’s your story!
I was surprised how much everyone liked my last story, so I’m definitely going to make this a permanent thing, as long as I continue having time.
