Hiya! So pleased I could revisit and rework this - the first posting of Young PunkN, Explorer Extraordinaire. For @HollyDE 🌼🍃 , whose work never fails to make me laugh in the BEST way! 😅😘 ...but I’d genuinely like to know more about all of *you*. Did you like science, or exploring nature, when you were little? Do you have a cheery story about that? Hope you’ll share! 🖤🤎🖤

Here's a story for you: When I was, Idk, 8-10 (?) , right after it rained, my Grandmother would call me over to where she was standing, which was under a huge hickory tree, and ask me if I wanted to see a lizard nest, and when I'd run over to see she'd shake the limb and wet me. She got me more than once with that one, and probably wondered how bright her granddaughter was, lol. We lived way out in the country and I was her shadow. We'd often be outside and in the woods a little way there

was an enormous sprawling oak tree, and the limbs grew out to the side more than up, and although the circumference of the limbs were huge, they were so low to the ground you could walk along your pick of several limbs like you were on a huge balancing beam. She'd also cut the stem from a palmetto bush and make duck whistles for us. I never managed to lure a duck but the memories!

M’kay, my gramma was awesome, but so was yours!! Those were fantastic stories! Thank *you*, @HollyDE 🌼🍃 ! 😅😘 I’ve only ever seen photos of those oaks... Also - on this pic - I changed up the colors and shadows since most people missed little punkN. Really pleased you liked it. ☺️
