2 years agoOh, yeah, @Peyz33 aka Karen ๐บ๐ธโจโจโจ itโs been very hectic around here lately, between Donna, chemotherapy treatments, and the hydration treatments it's been crazy busy. That's right from the movie Rebel Without a Cause with James Dean & Marlon Brando. ๏ฟผ

2 years agoOh, I thought you knew, @Peyz33 aka Karen ๐บ๐ธโจโจโจ I'm sorry my dear, but last year Donna was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had two tumors removed from her right breast along with a lymph node, then went through 12 weeks of radiation and now doing 5 rounds of chemotherapy she has 3 more treatments left and will finish up in early March, but our 4 daughters have been a huge help. โค๏ธ๐ค๐๐๐ฏ๐๐๐

2 years agoOh Patrick Iโm so sorry to hear this. I had lung cancer - surgery / chemo and lots of talks with God. If she needs someone to talk to Iโm here for you both. Cancer is very isolating - even if you are surrounded with people who love you - having it is a whole different level. I found an amazing web site - global - called Inspire. www.inspire.com Tell her to check it out. Iโm still close with people I met during my journey who were in my boat - so to speak - have faith. Iโm 14 years cancer free

2 years agoI'll let her know my dear, @Peyz33 aka Karen ๐บ๐ธโจโจโจ her dear sweet girlfriend almost like a sister was diagnosed with breast cancer around the same time so they have been talking and going through this together Iโll let Donna, know about the website, I'm glad you share this with me so far they both are getting through this chemotherapy process together with a couple of side effects that some days knock them down a couple of days. ๐๐๐ฏโค๏ธ๐ค

2 years agoDonna has stage 3 breast cancer, the only good thing cancer didn't get past the lymph node it was detained in the breast the lymph node was removed only for precaution. ๐๐คโค๏ธ๐ฏ๐

2 years agoThe only advice I can give about chemo is to drink fluids as much as you can. Chemo tends to constipate - badly - so co-lace and water - thatโs good that they have each other. Is it double negative ? I know way more than I would like to about cancer - thankful it was contained but trust me chemo is no party. Itโs cumulative so it actually gets worse with each treatment. If she already doesnโt have a RX for Ativan she should ask for it. Itโs for anxiety. Doesnโt get you high or anything

2 years agoI used to get it in liquid form with my chemo. Does she have a port? I had issues my veins would roll - they didnโt want to be poisoned

2 years agoOh, yes, @Peyz33 aka Karen, ๐บ๐ธโจโจโจ Donna, has been staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water, along with zero sugar Gatorade, because she has Junior diabetes. โค๏ธ๐ค๐๐๐๐ฏ๐

2 years agoWell, Donna, has a port to administer the chemo and draw blood because she has difficult veins ๏ฟผ๏ฟผto find, and more than likely she will keep the port for future blood test draws. But she is on anxiety meds and has been for a while it keeps her grounded and relaxed. โค๏ธ๐ค๐ฏ๐๐๐๐
