Good morning! Just colored this one in honor of our first snow this winter. I had the pleasure of waking up to it this morning. We didnโt get a whole lot but it was pretty to watch falling earlier. I just happened to be up early to take my daughter to get her CT scan. The drs are trying to determine if she has something called MALS. Iโm praying she doesnโt bc itโs a difficult & long recovery from surgery but we also want to find out whatโs wrong with her. Would appreciate any prayers for Kathryn

1 month agoThis is gorgeous! Sorry about your daughter. I hope it is actually not the case as like you mentioned, the treatment creates a long recovery. Open heart, chest surgery is rough. I have thoracic spine issues which require going through the chest wall, and doesn't usually work. Rarely will they try it.
MALS is interesting and a congenital condition. It is amazing how many people walk around with congenital conditions and find out in adulthood, if ever.
