2 years agoThis is stunning. So on the Pride flag, the red is always on top ... not sure if you knew that. What I never see anymore is the upside down pink triangle. Is that still out there? It was the way Nazis identified homosexuals in the concentration camps. They were singled out for even more heinous abuse. I had a lot of gay/lesbian friends in the past and the pink triangle and rainbow flag were the emblems back then.

2 years agoFabulous Outstanding Version 💚💜💛. I’m in total support of the gay community. Had a close childhood friend who was gay before it was accepted as widely and had a strong movement as it does today. Freddy died tragically in a car accident, during a snowstorm, in his early twenties. So wish that he could have seen the progress and ability to marry and had been able to be part of an OUT COMMUNITY😢

2 years ago@TracyNWOregon🌲 As a lesbian woman, yes I was aware of what direction the gay pride flag colors go in. I was using artistic license. It doesn't matter to me as a gay person in an art piece as long as the rainbow colors we use are kept in a certain order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. I was aware that Nazis went after the gay community during WWII, and that at least 100,000 died. I don't know about the pink triangle. That's a great question.
