2 years agoSo very sorry, it's really never an easy decision. Being almost homebound, my 3 fur babies are my best friends and companions whilst my husband is at work. They keep me motivated and mobile. Our 2 dogs are both almost 10 and our cat is 12.
I pray that you have comfort in your memories.

2 years agoWhen I lost my dear fur baby Amber many years ago I swore I would never have another because the pain was so deep. And it was a number of years before a scrawny and lost cat appeared in our garage, and of course she stayed and enjoyed many years with us. They are not just animals they are a gift. I feel your pain and you know you are not alone.

2 years ago@Riverbank I completely agree. Talking to people here has been so therapeutic. You can’t explain this pain, it’s something you have to experience to understand. My people have never had a pet, so they don’t get it. I’m so grateful for the beautiful comments and stories that have been shared with me. You get it, and I really needed to hear that. Thank you 🙏

2 years agoaidybene.....my heart is so broken for you and I know exactly how you feel having been right where you are. I was given a sweet little Chihuahua shortly after I had to put my 2 boys down within a couple of weeks of each other and felt that I wasn't ready at all for another dog but my friend said just take her for the night so I did and she has been my therapist ever since! I tell you this because it helped me and my heart is heavy for your pain 💔 Maybe just think about giving your love to

2 years ago@ArtFreak it’s now a week since she left us, but it feels like it was just yesterday. I keep waiting for the pain to ease but when we got her ashes today I broke. So many people that have been here before me are passionate about adopting again, so it has obviously helped them. Which is why I appreciate your comment so much. This is new and I’m lost. Thank you for your kind words and for sharing with me 🙏

All I know to do is to pray for you and your baby because my faith tells me that the Lord will help you and take away your pain. 2 years agoI am an RC friend of ArtFreak and am responding to her request to pray for you. I am crying reading your hurt and pray all of your RC friends loving comments help. I have had to let two cats go because of cancer. Both were 16 years old when I lost them. I had adopted another kitten before the loss of my last one and she has been a life saver to me. May the Lord heal your broken heart and in time allow you to open that heart to another fur baby who needs your love.

2 years agoOh Aidybene, I am so sorry for your loss. After I lost my pet I decided to be done with it, I didn’t realize how attached we can become to our pets. It was a big part of your life, they become family, the grieving is the same. I hope your pain eases for you during this difficult time my friend 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
