Hello girls, guys, non binary folk and everyone in between. My name is Enira and today I drew Julian! (he/him) Here's Julian, the 5th and final main character of WT! Omfg I finally finished their references... just to colour them on Ibis Paint,,, I'm so happy 😭 Lore dump time!!!! ⚠️ TW for eating d!s0rd€rs btw Julian is Adal's half brother and Jackie's adopted brother yadda yadda. As a kid, Julian was forced to mature faster than his siblings, in the orphanage to protect them, and after they were adopted, he was seen as the most responsible and mature one by his parents. Julian holds some resentment towards his family because they are different, to them they arent normal. His brother is autistic, his sister and parents are queer, and he would often be made fun of at school for this. And as he got older, he started hanging out with people who also thought his family was weird, so his resentment grew. This toxic group of people he called friends are a big source of his problems in the series, as he also develops internalised h0m0-ph0b!@ towards himself and he has a lot of toxic masculinity. Throughout the series, Julian learns to accept he is bi and get over his toxic masculinity. And perhaps the biggest struggle Julian goes through is his eating d!s0rd€r. Julian has fat on his belly (he wears a lot of baggy clothes to hide it, and you cant see it in this drawing because he is wearing a baggy jacket), flabby arms with no muscles, and also believes his hips are "too feminine", so he grows to hate his body and thinks it's not "masculine" enough. He limits his eating and over-excercises which leads to him developing an ED. Throughout the series, Julian learns to accept his body and love himself. Julian is also kind of a "foil" to the other WT main characters, as they're all kind of extroverted and outgoing, but Julian is reserved and quiet I didn't change much about his design, just his pants to shorts, and i gave his hair a more reddish tone to match with his red jacket My midterms are almost over 🥲🙏 but i have 3 fencing meets next week 😭 That's all for today, byeee!

Ok just read it. He’s really just a bad sad boy (so basically Hunter from Owl House) I’m loving that fact that he’s a fellow bird lover, we need more of those in life. I also like how he’s a bit more of a passive protagonist and more reserved and is still seen as a protecter to his family. I think that’s a really unique thing that not a lot of writers write (in general we don’t get a lot of passive protagonists)

This character that doesn’t express his emotions and is reserved in conversation around people is still a figure that is looked up to, even if they’re withdrawn and fragile and I think that the self acceptance arc is a great way to really utilize the interesting parts of Julian’s story. Also I’m very much enjoying his side eye and swoopy hair

@a simple pear. Honestly I didn't think about it that way before but he is kinda like Hunter, except with an ED and without the crazy uncle (putting it lightly there 💀). Yesss I love birds too they're so cute, magpies are my favourite kind of bird! Also wow I didn't think about the passive protector thing either- thats really observant of you, and now that I think about it, I agree, you really analysed Julian's character well! And also we do need more passive protectors (Julian may hate himself but he's just a sweetheart on the inside, and he will eventually realise it) (Sorry for the late reply, I only now just found time to reply to comments 😅)
