@gram gram I have seen the Eiffel Tower, Ray Charles on a plane, a close encounter of the third kind (thank goodness there was a witness!) and the Northern Lights. I have sat in a steam room in Germany with Miss Venezuela at a nude waterpark. I mean, really, when I think about all that has occurred in my life, it’s a bit like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas! Lol

But now I am settled on a private ranch in central Texas, nestled between Covid Central (San Antonio) and Crazy Town (Austin) which is also a covid hot spot. Let’s face it, all of Texas is a hot spot and in every conceivable way! lol

3 years agoWe are rising in cases too, and school is about to start. I’m nervous for my grandson. A sixteen year old diabetic, and my daughter, an eighth grade teacher....yikes!

3 years ago@gram gram I don’t blame you! Since this looks like it’s not going away perhaps forever, we humans are at a pivotal point and need to get it through our heads how to protect ourselves. I hate “new” normals but this is an important one and frankly it’s no more difficult to get used to than wearing a car seat belt. THAT was also a life saving measure that people rejected at first..now it’s so normal.. I’ll be so glad when things feel normal even they don’t return to the previous normal.

3 years ago@gram gram How do your daughter and grandson feel about returning to school? My son is in college..he’s nervous about it...he stayed home with us for 4 months and just went back to his apartment 2 weeks ago, at the height of this craziness! Makes me nervous for sure..I hope his classes end up being remote ones. He is in the band also...how’s THAT suppose to work? Lol
