My husband just turned 68 on the 12th this month..it was also our 46th anniversary and yeah, he’s a bit young for such a problem, but the work he has done for 35 years involved carrying heavy buckets of concrete, like 60 pounds in each hand, and he did that every day so

3 years ago@MamaClaire ...so it has really created a problem in his lumbar area. He has canal stenosis which is a narrowing of the space in the spine where the spinal cord is...in other words, bone is growing inside the spine and closing in on the spinal cord. He is now is a wheelchair, but only at work. Here at home he is using a cane on good days and a walker on bad days. It’s going to be a while before we know his outcome. The theft made it much more difficult to comment on RC, email my friends (including Penny!!). Please tell her she will be hearing from me this week!!! And I’ll include a special note for you as well! As for me new profile pic....I decided it was time to put up a recent photo instead of the one I had...it was about 15 years old and I had my hair tucked under my cowboy hat and I had just gotten off a cruise ship in Mexico. Hubs would like to hold off as long as possible on surgery because....who wouldn’t during a pandemic. He is getting some mild relief from some physical therapy and next week gets an injection in his spine but those will be limited and the surgeon which he has seen (but will get other opinions) thinks he will be choosing surgery because it’s the only real “fix” for ...

I am committed to it and hubs has a positive attitude and an unmatched will. I trust in a positive outcome until and unless we discover there isn’t one. ONWARD...THROUGH THE FOG!!!!
