My mother in law who just rang the bell after cancer treatment ended up in ER on Saturday from severe dehydration she had a stroke yesterday morning and that led to them discovering her whole intestines have not been getting adequate blood flow so the whole entire lining of small intestine is filled with hundreds of air bubbles.

****** news is nothing can be done surgery is too risky to even remove the cancer tumor. So it will grow again and if the intestine issues dont kill her soon the cancer eventually will. It is so just crazy maddening for her to fight so hard for 7 months to beat this colon cancer to having the radiation destroy her insides and now theres nothing they can do even future wise. We have to be thankful and present for each day we can have together.

This is sad news. Medical science, as advanced as it is, has trade-offs and limits. My sympathy to you and your family, and wishing your mother-in-law strength and peace.
