@andriavanb I believe in honesty and integrity and though I am far from perfect, I still advocate for the ethical treatment of all. I talk too much, I am opinionated and I share too much ... it's just who I am. What you see here, is very true and real to who I am and I do not apologize for that and I will not change to appease a few.
I try to reign it in time to time ... but I feel educating people is the best way change their perspective. ❤

1 year agoTracy, you are a brilliant advocate for truth, love and equality for all who inhabit our country and the world. I fear for our democracy every day and for the violence being threatened from the extreme right in America toward anyone who doesn’t believe what they believe and dares to disagree. Slavery was America’s original sin and it has poisoned our politics ever since. I hope young people will vote like never before bc this is their future to lose and they are a more egalitarian cohort.

It's not just the selective likes and comments I'm noticing myself, but it's all the fake allies who then go to their friends' galleries where I stumble upon their ranting homophobic comments about overly sensitive people who have to have "safe spaces" and other such hateful, whining nonsense like needing to "weed these people out of the population". And can't they just take a joke, or let us have

And it all started because LGBTQ+ people noticed certain people were taking pictures released for free specifically for Pride, and altering them to reflect their religious views or their other anti-LGBTQ+ art. They called them on it, pretty nicely, and the people who had done this with the Pride content, or felt the need to defend those that had, went nuts! And it hasn't stopped since. 1 year ago...on defensive, overly fragile ears, and the woman did nothing but make justifications for her rights to her opinions and her art. And then she and her friends were all over RC stirring up stuff, acting like they were the ones whose rights were in jeopardy. Ever since, I've seen the traffic drop to my gallery by more than half, and the RC community doesn't feel like it used to. It's really sad. I've been outspoken all my life, and I have paid the price over and over again. I too, have to fight

1 year ago...for truth and for equal, ethical treatment for all. I'm definitely not perfect either. I have to do my best to be careful not to over share & I have PTSD too. I can't change who I am at the core of me, and I refuse to because other people are ignorant and afraid. I agree, all we can do is try to educate, and hope some people will listen so that life will get better for more people. ❤🤗🌈
