1 year agoThis is a terrible and sad tragedy, over and over, that you’ve seen in your lifetime Tracy. You are very aware of the suffering of women, under-represented and disabled persons. I admire you pointing out injustices. In this country, we are going backwards. As of yesterday, and after the next couple of election cycles … we could be completely broken or in chaos. I try not to think about it. But I don’t have a good feeling … 💗

1 year agoThe colors are just divine! 👌🏻🤎💛🤎 It’s not okay what gets done to rights… a very sad day yesterday was. Ugh ugh… our rights to everything slowly vanishing. 😞. Even to vote is a mission.

1 year agoTracy, I’m gutted that our bodies are no longer ours. I’m having a tough time of it right now. I wasn’t around much yesterday so I don’t know what happened, but you’ve never offended me. Still it stinks when one gets attacked. It hasn’t happened to me in a while, but I sure remember it! 🥰🥰🥰

1 year ago@Color My World It has all been resolved ... I woke in such great spirits yesterday, until I turned on my TV. I have a couple friends who terminated and though I may not have done that, I am not in their shoes. Also, I have to say ... it was likely the best. There was a fear of another severely autistic child and frankly, both children she had are a disaster emotionally. There are so many variables people don't factor in. Very few children are born into a "Hallmark Movie." A lot of people

1 year ago@Color My World out there have zero business bringing children into this world. There are so many children neglected, abused and often, once they're not a baby, no one wants to adopt. The adoption laws are so stringent, Americans often go to other countries for babies.
My father spent his whole life in an orphanage in New York. His mother wasn't married and thus the baby was eliminated to save face for the family ... you know, cause she was an "unmarried whore."

1 year ago@Color My World paid the price for this emotionally. He eventually took his pain and completely exited our lives. We both have issues with relationships and opted to not have kids to stop the cycle of pain.
What's going to transpire now is many babies being terminated at birth by scared teens and mentally challenged women. An overflow of children no one wants and death of women. Just because we can produce children doesn't mean we should be forced to do so until our bodies give out.

1 year ago@Color My World And what about the men? No accountability for them. So many men force their wives, gf's and mistresses to terminate either in clinic or by beating them. This is the harsh reality no one considers.
Don't even get me started about the thousands of viable embryos thrown in the garbage every year at fertility clinics ... thousands.
Barefoot and Pregnant so men regain control over women... plain and simple. We all should stop giving the goods ... see what happens.

1 year ago@TracyNWOregon🌲 You’re on a roll! I’ve decided that, in the end, it doesn’t matter why a woman makes her choice. It’s hers. You’ve named some reasons that are compelling but, I fear the people who want to take body autonomy away don’t care. My entire reproductive life was covered by choice. I’m just sick for the women who no longer get that choice. I’ll keep fighting, we have more arrows in our quiver than we had 50 years ago.
