1 month agoI lve polka dot plants! I should get some again- they do well on the deck and add color. I got my mini rose bush- a plant, not bare-root. I’m keeping it outside and will bring it inside if needed. My hosta has three new shoots! It looked dead but managed to survive the winter, plus the lambs ears, sage and catnip- not too bad since it’s completely shaded and I just ignored them except for a little water occasionally. Are you going out ro Easter Brunch? Uncle forbade me to cook- I work too hard

1 month agoAnd get too tired so I made reservations at a fancy restaurant for us and our friend Deb. The entrees are too creative for him but they have a dessert bar so he’ll be fine. Have a great gardening week my friend🌷

I won’t keep bothering you about writing a book, but I am going to enjoy all your last posts like reading a book as I as I eat. Your work is like reading a fun book with spectacular illustrations😘♥️♥️♥️💐 My husband finally agreed to have hip replacement surgery on his demolished right hip. He had the surgery yesterday and he’s doing fantastic. He has no pain. His pain was worse before surgery♥️Love & many hugs😘🤗♥️♥️

1 month ago@Holly Jane DE 🎨🖌 He’s doing so well that I have to work hard to Prevent him from doing things so that he won’t dislocate the joint and need another surgery. (There are a lot of restrictions & exercises after surgery to prevent dislocation, blood clots, etc). My husband hates asking for help. Yes he will be getting the other hip replaced as soon as it is safe-possibly as early as 3 months but this doctor is busy. I will keep you posted.♥️Your garden sounds incredible! 1 month ago@photobert I'm happy for yall & I appreciate your letting me know what's going on. Are you staying there with him at night? Will he have to have alot of physical therapy now? I'll stop being nosey now & get back outside to work in the yard. Have you heard of grounding? Someone was telling me about it the other day. 1 month ago@Holly Jane DE 🎨🖌 He’s at home. He stayed in the hospital one night & left the next day. Amazing how he recovered so easily from this surgery. ♥️I’ll have to look up grounding. I sure love how our flowers look when they bloom. Unfortunately our season doesn’t start for 2 months & it lasts so short. But you get used to what you have & I’m always grateful that I don’t have to worry about snakes or alligators. They seem so prehistoric & you can’t stop them from attacking. 😳lol Hugs, 😘♥️♥️♥️💐

1 month agoMiss Silky knocked over one of my plant trays and broke it in the wee hours of the morning - little rascal! The plants seem ok- I have them on the kitchen windowsill where I hope she won’t find them. We’re still dropping into the 40’s at night so I’m reluctant to put them on the deck, although my mini rose is doing fine. I got my beach waves perm yesterday - I really like it- very soft and just wavy but now I need a haircut…. I spend a lot at that salon. And then I needed a couple of products
