They’re both greedy, quick to anger, little hellspawns who shamelessly use friends as stepping stones for his objectives. That’s why they’re hostile towards good characters like Childe. It doesn’t work on him. He’s too vigilant.

He and the rest of the Fatui genuinely deserve divine acknowledgment out of any character in the game. After all, Childe IS the standard of how a main character’s supposed to be. A strong hero with a kind and unwavering soul. Of course the goddess of criminal justice blessed him. According to Nahida, she IS the watchful type, you know.
