1 year ago@SilverSuperman thank you ☺️. I feel like I’m about Halloween’d out this year thanks to this ap (in a good way). Usually Halloween sneaks up on me and I miss it now that the kids are grown - it’s probably one of my favorite seasons - but I feel like I’ve got plenty this year

1 year ago@SilverSuperman I’m curious how melancholy feels to you - good or bad. I suppose somewhere in between is possible as well. I’m glad you have memories of how your little sister loved the holiday but understand why that might have a weightiness too.

1 year agoHeavy subject, @Scarecrowow , but if I had to describe how melancholy feels to me, I guess that I would only have two words for it: sickly sweet. At times, it seems as the pain is unbearable, but, at other times, it seems as though the pain pushes you toward the happy memories. Just shows you how screwed up I really am!!!
