2 years agoCouldn’t agree with you more. How about people who follow you but don’t like a single picture? It’s all about numbers for the kids. Flip side of that, I find today that I’m NOT following you. Not my doing! Gotta’ love Recolor, huh? 🤨. This is just gorgeous 💜😊💜

2 years agoSelf promotion is against the rules. When I first started here I would get requests to follow all the time, but I never asked for people to follow me.
I wanted to be followed like all the top users I saw, but never asked.
What changed it for me is I practiced my skills (which I do daily). I started introducing my posts and sharing myself but MOST IMPORTANTLY, I actually wrote to others, gave acknowledgement to their talent and read what they wrote. I commented and nurtured.

2 years agoThe followers just came after that. I like lifting people up and making people feel good. It takes time and energy, but, it is so worth it because by doing so, I lift myself up too!
If one wants followers, then they need to invest into following. This is a community of great people, not a popularity contest.
