I go camping pretty frequently with my family, and I always enjoy it! Oh yeah I would love to be more organized than I am currently! When it comes to school, I’m extremely organized, but for some reason my room just gets messy… I can think part of the problem is that I don’t have time to clean it during the school year 😩😭

1 year agoactually never read the Maze Runner series! I’ve always wanted to read it though!
Okay, so I read Onyx and Ivory, the first book in the duology, a couple days ago. The blurb was a good and it had the potential to be a good story. At the beginning I was a bit… bored, I suppose. I’m not sure why. I think it was just kinda predictable and there didn’t seem to be much character development. However, it got better as the story went on, and while there were some times when I could easily-

1 year agopredict what would happen next, the plot was good. Overall, not a bad book, but I don’t know if I’d read it again. (and I’m not entitled sure how the title relates to the story)
Then I read the second book, which I believe was called Shadow and Flame. I liked it MUCH better than the first book~ the plot was more suspenseful and just better developed, in my opinion. I really liked this one~ it kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire book and nicely tied up all the loose ends created by-

I’m going on vacation next week to an island on the Puget Sound, in Washington State, called Whidbey Island, with my family, and am looking forward to that! I’m also going to be running sound for a band at a semi-local music festival Friday, which should be fun as well!

I completely understand that, school is so stressful and wares you out FAST. I have To-Do lists for each day that organize my hobbies and help me not feel overwhelmed by all this stuff I want to do. I also have monthly rules, one of which is updating a monthly diary, and then the other main one is deep cleaning my bathroom and bedroom. Lists and goals…

That was a 10/10 book review, if I do say so myself. I think, after hearing your overall analysis of the duology, I’ll definitely have to look into them. The mention of this series reminded me of a book, which now has a sequel I need to purchase, that I think you’d enjoy. Have you read The Hawthorne Legacy? It’s very very good, and unpredictable. Ooh, vacation is always fun! I’m sure that’ll be a blast, as will your little job at the music festival! And girl, I feel you. The heat is TERRIBLE, but in my state it’s starting to cool down and rain, so it’s getting better. 😩
My week has been going pretty good, besides the fact that me and a guy whom I was romantically involved with decided to go our seperate ways. 😀
