2 years agoThat sounds like fun! Is it a weekend getaway? I can't remember if I told you or not, but on Tuesday, within two hours of each other, two of my roommates went to the hospital. I had to call 911 both times, and it was the same ambulance crew each time. They're still in the hospital. I'm still working on my housing situation because my third roommate is unbearable and her false accusations against me cannot be continued.

2 years agoAlso, on last Sunday, I got the worst news. My mom's cancer is now terminal. They're stopping chemo. They're talking about putting in a feeding tube. She's very weak. And she hasn't felt like talking on the phone. And I didn't even find out about it from her. My stepdad told my sister, who told me. Mom was keeping it from us. Sigh... So I don't even know how to talk to her about it. What if she just doesn't want to talk about it? I'm at a loss. Prayers would be wonderful.❤️

2 years ago@andriavanb you are getting beat up. I am so sorry. Maybe she doesn’t want to talk about it because it would upset you? She loves you, and god knows that. He has a plan. Your mom will be fine, I’m sure. I hope. I really really hope. I lost my mom a year ago, to covid. All you can do is to keep reminding yourself, she loves you. I know it. Who doesn’t? But really, I am so sorry. 🙏🏻

2 years agoMy mom and I have a complicated relationship. It hasn't been easy. We are very different. I love her very much, but I don't know if I will ever understand her. So knowing time may be limited, makes it harder. She's been overcoming the odds for more than 20years with cancer, but this time feels different. This time I feel like time is running out. I'm sure she loves me in her way.

2 years ago@andriavanb I am sorry. Really sorry. That makes it tough. But all I can say is cherish the moments you still have. Tell her you love her. It will make you feel better, when she knows that.
