3 years agoLove these soft yet remarkably bright colors, photo-b! So! Long time off RC. Changes here in the app I think I do not enjoy, lol. I have power for the moment and all are still asleep here. Kent is still mostly in a wheelchair as we had to miss his 6 week appt to see if he can bear weight on that right leg after the bone graft on his pelvis. His final diagnosis was avascular necrosis with the pelvic damage. It’s been a LONG haul, but hopefully next week we will see a...

3 years ago.....major shift in his recovery. We’ve been iced in for 6 days, unable to leave the house. We should 4 wheel drive vehicles but we do not. *eye roll* All has gone well, we have about 3 power outages a day, rolling and on purpose to keep our grid from going completely down. All our relatives on the ranch have busted pipes. We, thankfully, do not. 7” of snow shut Central Texas down. It’s horrible for ppl here! I haven’t seen a bird one, in 3 days...concerned about that. Anyway....

3 years agoThank you for your kind words Bert- yesterday was very tough but we’re fine today. We had the Moderna vaccine- it’s known for side effects after the second shot....chills, fatigue, fever and painful joints for me...fatigue and bad headache for hubby. Oh well- big girl panties🤣🤣🤣🤣

You have been through so much, but you have the drive and strength to hang in there. Kent had quite the diagnosis and surgery. I am so glad you have the best doctors down there for his follow up care. It may take a while but he’s headed in the right direction. 😘♥️ And your snow!! Yikes,Texas can’t handle that mess. So Texas heat is from electricity which overloaded the power grid?

3 years ago@🌳Brenavere🌳 2) We have gas heat. Around here they plow & salt our streets right away so we can get around. I can’t imagine not having the streets plowed. So do you have to plow your own roads going into the ranch? I hope you have enough food & you can stay warm. I am worried. And broken pipes and icy roads with devastating 130 car pileups. Too many drivers who don’t understand you have to slow way down on icy roads making it dangerous for everyone. I once drove at 10 mph on an Interstate here..
