@Color My World My daughter and I were just discussing the Cicadas and that year. We heard them but we never saw them. So I have no idea where they were but they sure were loud. I guess they do different things in different areas. In the eastern US they are pretty bad this year, and have even prevented some planes from taking off by causing mechanical failure. Cicadas! They are large flying bugs and leave empty body cases around! I remember seeing them when I was younger. I went camping last week middle of Missouri and heard some but never did see one. I love your painting by the way, it looks beautiful and familiar 😊🎨 Wonderful Work!

@KarenMay @Melony I just saw a video of people eating the cicadas & well that’s not for me. 🤢 Years back when we heard them loud and clear, we never did see one. So I’m curious how far away they actually were. Our cicadas must have been different than the ones on the east coast.
