6 months ago@Stan B 🎸sadly few do. Some schools ask kiddies to dress up. People will have costume parties here and there, and some shops will promote Halloween goodies, but it's not a big thing for various reasons. Safety and religion are two major factors. As an expat in Tanzania, the international school, British High Commissioner, and US embassy normally had things going for the kids. My stepdaughter enjoyed it a lot. I personally think it is a fun day. Who doesn't like dressing up as a kid?

6 months ago@Stan B 🎸 your town sounds even more quiet than ours. We had an influx of younger families since Covid. We have two primary schools and a handful of kindergartens. Before Covid , it used to be mostly retirees and a few young families.

6 months ago@Stan B 🎸 Doral is the Queen of CF 😉😀 It's a sweet community over here, too. Lovely people. I agree that the import on this app is fantastic. You can't even compare. I save my work on Pinterest, and when I compare, this app's quality is just so much better. CF had a simpler shading tool, easy to use, and I would love to colour out lines, but I'm now very used to the shading on here.

6 months ago@Stan B 🎸 Besides, there are some amazing creative talents on here. I just love their work. I also like that there is no junk allowed on the app or inappropriate content. It got out of hand on CF. I'm, of course, very happy you are on here. I would have been sad if you weren't. It's nice to have some of the old crew on here like you, Pea (such a sweetheart), and Cate. Cate was the first to welcome me on CF and have a chat, so it was a nice surprise to see her on here.
