1 month agoBeautiful work her Holly such a lovely face and really cute hair- wonderful my friendππππππππππππππ I want to go shopping at the nursery with you! We would be a seriously bad influence on each otherπππ I love the inch plants- variegated leaves and flowers fascinate me. Bougainvilleas and pyracanthas are both beautiful but have deadly thorns. I grew them in Dego and even with heavy gloves pruning is painful. Silky visited my new Holly plants- she sampled the aloe and pulled out one of the

1 month agobromeliads- I found it on the floor with a little pile of dirt. Guess Iβll have to resort to my citrus cat deterrent- Iβll spray it on a paper towel and put it in the tray- weβll see if it works. Our temps are colder than normal now but as soon as it warms up to 50 at night Iβll put them outside. I can easily move them inside when it gets too cold. Have a safe trip back home. Thanks again for all my new plants!

1 month agoThe citrus spray worked so far- no new plant casualties. I used to grow cat grass for Silky but she ate it and barfed so I stopped. She likes to nibble on some of the outdoor plants during the summer- last year it was the fountain grass. Itβs nice you have the space to grow so many different plants. I have to pick and choose an stick with smaller ones for shade. I always have one experiment for fun- this year itβs the four oβclocks. One year I grew ground cherries in one of my pots- very tasty.

1 month agoThey look like yellow cherry tomatoes with little husks and have a sweet-tart flavor. Not sure if I told you but I bid on some stuff for a fund raiser for the animal shelter I volunteer with and ββwonββ a photo session at my home for Silky. Can you imagine trying to get a cat to pose for a beauty shotπππ It will be an adventure for sure. Have a beautiful day and enjoy your garden my friend. Hugsπ·
